Carrigan has Piggie Tails and they are in the back like a big girl! I am so glad she will let me put her hair up in hair bands because these are her general thoughts on hair bows... Which stinks because she has 3 "bow totes" full of them! And here she is doing one of our favorite things: Crossing Her Feet! Anytime we are in the car she either has her legs swinging or they are crossed. She is such a little lady!!

An Amazing Milestone
The last day of Gavin's 14th month he became a big brother to Carrigan Bailee Carson - King. Today is the last day of Carrigan's 14th month. The flood of emotions is more than I can even explain. I want to kiss that sweet little baby face of my darling boy. I want to frantically search for Carrigan's 1st year. It's got to be around here somewhere. There is no way she is this old yet. She can ask for, "More Baba Please" & say "Cookie All Gone." There is no way she is old enough for that yet. She even says "Tan Chu, Momma" (thank you) and responds to "I Love You" with "Luh V"
Goodness, that little boy. He will randomly come up to me telling me he has a booboo on his cheek or lips just to get an extra kiss. Just yesterday when Gavin scraped his foot, Carrigan came up to me and asked, Booboo? I said yes as I rubbed Gavin's foot, so Carrigan bent down and kissed his it.
Tonight Gavin put his play phone up to a doll's ear and had a conversation. After he hung up he had to smell the baby's bottom to see if he was stinky. The doll was, so Gavin took off his diaper. He is so precious. They are growing up way too fast. Sometimes I look at Carrigan and just stare. How did I make something so beautiful? Gavin gets called a "Momma's Boy" by just about everybody he comes in contact with. Thank you to all who have ever said those words. They are the greatest compliment! Carrigan, your daddy has put his claim on you!! If someone says you are a Mommy's girl, your daddy responds, No, She's MINE!! (although you really are a Mommy's girl too!)
Carrigan (better known as "sister" in our house) you are amazing and light up a room like nobody else. You have an infectious energy, silliness and love that we just couldn't live without. Your daddy, Gavin and I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE you and can't wait to spend the rest of our lives with you!

Flashback to cuteness...
(Previous Post Continued...)
Gavin was 21 months and Carrigan was 6 months. Carrigan would still topple over when sitting up and Gavin still had to be watched like a hawk. Gavin liked picking up little rocks and Carrigan wanted so badly to get a handful of grass in her mouth. Sure things were harder, but I would love to go back to that day! I'm not sure why God blessed me with such beautiful, wonderful children, but I'm sure glad He did! (He is crying at a dog barking behind a fence) I just want to pick her up... and pat that little booty! What a sweet little chocolate covered face! When we came back inside Gavin started playing peak-a-boo with his hat with Carrigan. I was imagining what it will be like when they start to really play together. Now I know! Then Carrigan got a hold of the hat and Gavin tried his best to pry it out of her hands. Then I started to imagine all their future fights. I certainly know what that's like now too!!
Outside Time!
Look what we get to do in the middle of January! 3-4 airplanes fly over the house every day. Gavin has loved them since the first day he ever spotted them, so I had to take a picture.
Watching Gavin lead Carrigan by the hand is one of my favorite things in this world. :)
When I realized Carrigan is now old enough to let go of her hand when she is in a "big kid" swing, I got a flash back to this day.... (see next post)

Carrigan & her Dolly
Carrigan just loves her babies! When she sees one of her dolls, she says "Hi Baby!" Then she immediately asks for a "baby baba" and feeds her baby. When she hugs them, she makes a grunt noise because Levi always gives her a "big squeeze" until she grunts. It's too cute!
I love that she is such a girlie girl! ...even in Gavin's dinosaur jammies with bedhead and breakfast on her face! She was rocking the baby back and forth while giving it kisses. So sweet! Of course Handy Manny gets hungry sometimes too!

Cabin Fever
The weatherman says it'll get into the 50's this week. He also said there is a chance of rain, but it'll stay south of us. I want this in writing with a money back guarantee.
They are such a darling brother & sister pair. I love love love that he is sitting cross legged. It's such a little kid thing to do. (not that I want him growing up anytime soon)Carrigan's outfit started in one direction then went off in another. Is she old enough to claim she dressed herself? Oh how I cannot wait for Spring.
