Me: Gavin, it's too hot to go outside.
Gavin: Mommy blow on it outside.

Me: Gavin, I think you are trying to get on my nerves.
Gavin: Yes, I am.

Me: What do you want to do today?
Gavin: Go pay water bill.

Just before church one morning:
Gavin: Gavin have weewee. Carrigan have girlie bits.

As I was putting Carrigan down for a nap, Gavin peeked his head in the door and in his loudest whisper voice:
Gavin: Mommy. Mommy. Mommy. M-o-m-m-y. MOMMY!!
Me: What?????
Gavin. Hush now.

Gavin: Look at me! -- said 100x a day while doing something silly

Gavin: I say -- Kitty say --- Carrigan say --- followed by repeating the action, phrase or sound made by the person he is copying -- also said 100x a day.

Me: Caillou has a Mommy, Daddy, & Little Sister. He is just like you!
Gavin: No he's not! I a good boy.

After roughhousing got a little too rough with Cousin William...
Gavin: Get out my house NOW!!!

And a conversation between Madi & Gavin that just cracked me up!

Madi: GAVIN!!! You are making me have a hard day!
Gavin: No, you happy day!! YOU HAPPY DAY!!
Madi: Stop!
Gavin: I am! I am!
Madi: No, you're not!
Gavin: I know! --- Happy day!

20 Months

Today Carrigan Bailee is 20 months old.
She is 25.13 lbs -33 inches high
It is 7:40 a.m.
I'd like to share a few of her phrases that have already made it into this morning:

1. No Mommy like it! (I don't like it)

2. Let go!

3. Get up!

4. Get down!

5. Carrigan did it (Carrigan do it)

6. Come here, Kitty

7. Excuse me, Bubba -- as she crawled over him to get a pillow she wanted to smother the kitty with

8. No no, Bubba!

9. Stop!

10. Kitty go peepee -as she attempted to throw it in the potty

11. Daddy be back -- Of course...

And one ornery action -- Keeping eye contact while blowing a kiss & walking backwards towards the one of many things she is not allowed to do.... STAND ON THE BIG POTTY. -- yesterday she fell in.

Here she was, just 2 months old. Me with dark circles because I never got a wink of sleep. But gosh she was easy.... well easier....

Daddy threw the Frisbee. The Frisbee landed on the roof. They had hope Daddy could knock it down with a ball..... No such luck.

Okay, so it's pink, but she is sooo cute in it!

6 week old Mindi Lou

Levi & I decided to get Gavin a kitten for his birthday. We went to the Humane Society and fell in love with the most gentle kitten they had... and they had a LOT! We couldn't risk it being gone next month, so we brought her home. She has only been home about a couple of hours, but so far, we love her. I do especially because Mindi Lou is doing a great job keeping Gavin & Carrigan occupied!

Oh.. and I'm happy to have something new to photograph!

Levi's oldest brother Cliff and his son William, along with my niece Madi are all visiting us for a few days. Gavin couldn't be happier having older kids to run around with! Last night we had fun in the backyard. The kids played with bubbles, Levi grilled, Cliff slept, then we got out the slip 'n slide!

First William got in front of the camera for a while. Something he seemed to love doing. Every shot was a different pose! --- These are the few ones I got without a goofy face!
