ENJOY IT!

We took Carrigan for her first walk around the neighborhood. She seemed to enjoy it. You would think things like car rides, swings, and strollers would put her to sleep, but nope! She stayed awake the entire time. She is just like her Mommy; a very light sleeper!

2 Months Old

It is hard to believe, but Carrigan is 2 months old! She grows more and more beautiful every day.

A few things about Miss Carrigan:

Her eyes are blue and eye lashes are long.

Her smiles light up a room!

She is a BIG "talker"

She wakes up to eat once a night.

Her neck muscles are very strong.

At 2 months, she is wearing clothing Gavin wore at 5 months.

I can't get enough of her!! I miss her when I am not holding her.
I am amazed at the amount of love I feel for her and Gavin.
We are more than blessed!

Happy Graduation!

Levi graduated from Harding Graduate School!!! He has accomplished a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration on Health care Management.

Levi was one of only eight students out of the 400+ graduates to maintain a 4.0. He was asked to join Alpha Chi for being in the top 10% of his graduating class. He was also in the Honor Society, Delta Mu Delta.

No more school. No more homework. No more study groups.
More Husband and Daddy time!

Oh Brother

This is how I spend my days with my baby sister:

I poke her. I steal her things I bounce her. I scare the living daylights out of her (and Mommy who drops the camera, screams and lunges at me!) I am bound and determined to pull her off a chair or couch some day. I give her lots of hugs whenever she needs them.

But most of all I love her very much. And after all, that's what big brothers are for.

I promise your daddy will never let any boys near those precious lips!

1 Month Checkup

Today was my first outing alone with both Gavin and Carrigan. It was Carrigan's 1 month appointment. Her doctor is an hour away and wouldn't you know, it was raining and we were under a tornado watch. It was rough, but we managed!

The doctor said she is perfect! She did very well and gave lots of smiles. Gavin however cried every time Carrigan was touched with anything. He either cares a lot for his baby sister or was scared that he was next! She did have to get a Hep B shot and will get more shots next month. Don't you wish they could somehow get all vaccinations over with by pricking us mothers while we are pregnant with the little one?

1 Month Stats:

Weight: 11.13 lbs 80% percentile

Height: 23 1/4 inches: 85% percentile

It looks like I got the rolly polly girl I always wanted!

These are a couple of pictures I took the other night while Carrigan had the hiccups. With a pout like this, I doubt this little girl will ever hear the word "No" from her Daddy.

6 weeks old

... And as beautiful as ever.Showing her disapproval of wearing a hat. I cannot imagine there is any way for her to be more perfect!

Little Charmer

Gavin and Carrigan went to their first holiday party last night and Gavin spent his time wisely. He was learning how to romance the ladies!

Gavin with his favorite girl of the evening, Hannah. He likes the older ladies!Carrigan was passed around and got lots of cuddle time. My favorite part of the evening was hearing the words, "She looks like you, Laura!"Madi was a natural at ... Okay, I don't know the name of the game, but she definitely has rhythm! And thank you Alicia for helping with my two crying babies! I should have gotten a picture of you and Gavin while I had the chance!

Both little ones are awake and ready for breakfast.

No child of mine will stay hungry!
