Carrigan is 2!

I should be saying that I can't believe my baby is already 2, but it feels like she has been 2 for a while now. Nothing about her is 1. She can jump high and long, speaks in full sentences, knows sooooo much and has the biggest personality EVER!

Carrigan can identify all upper case letters and some lower case.

She can sort of count to 19. :) She skips some, but makes it there!

She SINGS! All the time, this girl sings! What is amazing is that she knows the words and you can understand her. The other day I came in on her singing, "Peace, Peace. Wonderful Peace. Coming Down..." That was my FAVORITE bedtime song growing up. It is Gavin's too. :) I need to get a video of her singing the classic theme song to Winnie the Pooh. That is her ultimate favorite song.

She is a cat person. (Just like her Mommy!) Cats are the most wonderful thing in the world to her. We tried having a kitten and bringing over my cat from my mom's house, but she loves them a little too hard. :) She could care less for dogs and shouts, "Go away!" when one comes near her.

She loves to jump. When she sees a crack, is getting off a rug, or is going from one type of flooring to another she JUMPS over it. It is so cute and something she has been doing for a loooonnnggg time!

Her favorite color is red. No ifs ands or buts about it! Sometimes she will be crying in the car and I'll ask her what she wants and she will reply, "I want red!"

She can embarrass us now. :)
To the lady at the drive through window, "F-I-N-A-L-L-Y!"
In response to a waitress asking if everything is okay, "I not happy."
In response to a hostess asking if we need anything, "Ummm, Daddy need go peepee."
In church, "Draw Bubba go peepee. Draw Daddy go peepee, etc..."
In church, "No NaNa's church! I want go HOOMMMEEE!"

She pinches me to comfort herself, put herself to sleep, get my attention, and to upset me. My arms are scratched and bruised up and down.

She loves to play Night-Night. She will get in hers or Gavin's bed, cover up, close her eyes and snore soooo loudly! She also loves to do this in the bath. It's too cute and she does it for a surprisingly long time.

She loves putting things on her head. At least once a day she will come out of a room with a hat, bucket, or tote over her head.... and every day I laugh at it! If it weren't so hard to find play hats, she'd have a ton! She also likes putting on glasses and bracelets. My girl loves her accessories. :)

She is shy around other children, but on a few occasions has claimed playground equipment to be her own.

Give her fruit and liquids and she would need nothing else to eat. Ever.

Naked is the only way to be.

She is STRONG. Very strong.

Things she hates and makes sooo stinking hard to do... partly because she is so strong.
1. Brushing her teeth
2. Brushing her hair
3. Putting in a hair bow
4. Going to bed
5. Being buckled up in her car seat
6. Staying in a shopping cart

She is afraid of nothing. If she sees a bug, frog, lizard, cat, tractor, goose... she goes straight for it shouting, "I got it!"

When I leave for longer than just a few hours (which isn't often) she likes to introduce me to everyone in the house when I arrive back home. "Hi Mommy. This my Bubba. This Daddy. I Carrigan."

She pronounces her name, "Cawadin"

My favorite thing she says is, "What's that noise?" because it comes out, "What bat noooooiiiiiiissssse?"

Just about every word is said (mostly) correctly with the exception of one word, umbrella. Said, "Abacacca."

ONLY Mommy can put her to bed.

I love every bit of her!

But I wouldn't miss the tantrums. :)
